Meera suggested this song a while back. All I can say is that I fell in love with it instantly when I heard it and decided to give it a shot. I have always been open to trying different styles of music, but I was very skeptical about this one. There were several factors that made me feel this way including the scale (being too low), the style (semi classical) and the language (me being pathetic with most languages). I dont think I’ve ever been so involved in covering a song and was totally immersed in this song for a period of 4 days or so. I probably drove Meera and Tara nuts in the process, both of whom helped me immensely in getting my part perfected (to the best of my abilities).
Meera has done a great job as always and has added a nice carnatic touch to this. She also came up with some nice backing vocals towards the end giving the song a different feel. I wanna thank her for insisting that I can do this song even when I was about to throw in the towel and for all the help with diction, expressions etc.
Hope you all enjoy this rendition!

You have justified your skepticism. No life at all in the Tamil words that have
flown through your voice. Atrocious pronunciation. There was an obvious
discomfort.
Good luck Man!
