This is a cover of an old Mr Big classic. Anup and I have been thinking of doing a song together for a while, but could’nt decide on the right one. We share similar taste in music ( and believe me, there are only a few). He is a very talented guitarist and has been a part of the Blogswara community for many years.
This particular song is quite different for all my previous uploads coz it has about 7 layers of vocals in all. I think this has given a song a very rich flavor.
I hope you all enjoy this one. Special thanks to Anup for collaborating on this song with me.

Srividya Kasturi had requested me to sing this. The song holds a special place in my life as this is the first song that my wife heard me sing and liked. So I am singing this out to her one more time

Tara is another good friend that I made through Muziboo. I feel we are a jinxed pair as we’ve been trying to cover a song for a while and nothing seemed to click, until this one. A classic from the movie Abhimaan originally sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. Both Tara and I are delighted with this cover for a few reasons. Firstly, this is out of our comfort zones and this is the first time we’ve attempted an oldie like this. Secondly we love the way it has come out. We have tried to add our own flavor to this song while still maintaining the structure and the beauty of this classic. I hope all you enjoy this rendition.

Rashmi Nair, who happens to be a good friend I made through Muziboo introduced me to this song. We knew instantly that we had to cover this one. This is the first time we are working on a song together and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. Hope you all enjoy this cover.

Blogswara is a concept started by a group of Audio Bloggers. The idea was for artists in the blogging community to collaborate and come up with songs that would then go through a selection process. The selected songs are then released as part of an album. This is the first year that I’ve participated in Blogswara, thanks to Sunny! The song that we collaborated on is Khushiyan. It was challenging and at the same time a fulfilling experience working with fellow amateur musicians over the internet. Really goes to show the power of the internet and how in many ways it has made distance a non issue. There are many great songs that have been released as part of Blogswara this year and I encourage each and every one to go and check it out

An old favorite. I love the version by Tracy Chapman the most but the Boyzone version is not bad either. Havent sung for a while and felt like covering something. So here goes.
